We will have an initial chat over the phone to understand your needs, followed by an hours consultation at your home or in the space you are looking to organise or declutter. Together we will discuss a plan to reach your goal.  Most decluttering sessions are completed together with the possible exception of bereavement cases where the family may live a considerable distance from the deceased person's home. However please be rest assured that regular updates and conversations will still take place to ensure you are fully aware of the progress. Organisation sessions can often be completed with or without the client being present following a detailed consultation. Once a plan has been agreed we would arrange a date to start. 

Organising and decluttering sessions can vary considerably depending on the area involved and the outcome required. However this can all be discussed at the consultation. Decluttering can be mentally, physically and emotionally draining and it very much depends on the space, the task and each individual involved. Organisation tasks can be more straightforward but still require planning in advance in regards to daily usage, space available, regular systems and storage solutions. 

There is no one type of person who needs a professional organiser/declutter in their life, anybody can need help at any time as life can be very unpredictable and change our usual routines. Many people can find themselves in situations where their belongings have become overwhelming and they simply don't know where to start! Or people can simply lack the time to do it. Whatever the reason, we are here to help. Working with you, we can help bring back space and introduce systems to maintain the space so you can live the life you want to without getting bogged down with stuff! 

Our passion is sustainability, reduce and reuse so we have a plethora of local community groups and organisations that we support. Where possible we donate a wide range of everyday items to these groups and organisations, to ensure that local people and local communities are benefiting from unwanted items. If you wish to sell any items, I can also advise the best way to do this. 

There will always be exceptions to this, and where we cannot place items, sell or donate elsewhere there may be occasions we need to dispose of these at the recycling centre. In those instances I have a waste carrier licence to reassure you this is actioned responsibly.  

Yes, is the quick answer to that! We can help with any paperwork needs whether that is slimming down and getting rid of confidential waste (we work with a local company to dispose of confidential waste, obtaining a certificate of destruction), updating a filing system or digitising all your paperwork. We can also help organise a simple system for staying on top of weekly, monthly and yearly finances and admin to ensure you know what is due and when, giving you ample opportunity to compare prices well in advance of renewal dates. 

Working with a professional organiser and declutterer is an investment. There is the obvious benefit of achieving the initial goal however there are so many other benefits, such as; 

• organised systems mean you can find everything you need and lessen the chance of you buying duplicate items
• Realising you have 'enough' whether that be clothes, bags, screwdrivers etc - once everything is organised and in one place, people are often amazed how many of one thing they actually own!
• locating lost items in the process (sentimental, money, important documents, photos etc) 
• Organised paperwork can mean no more missed payments, remove ongoing, often forgotten subscriptions, time to compare and save money on renewals
• clearing a expensive storage unit can save money!
